The concept of The Setai began with two fundamental ideals: a vision of unprecedented luxury and service; and one of the most prized pieces of oceanfront property in Miami.

Born out of a vision, The Setai reflects a passion to provide an experience that few can imagine. The Setai creates an intimate and private world within, but apart from, what has always been the greatest attraction of South Beach: the beach, the sun and the night. The Setai is an artistic collaboration of nature and visionary inspiration that is set amid beautiful beaches, tropical gardens and sparkling pools.

To this idyllic oasis, hotelier extraordinaire Adrian Zecha has added his own signature touch--passionate service and a profound and abiding respect for individual privacy. When our guests come to stay at The Setai, we strive to create a flawless experience for them. No request is too big, too unusual, or too complex. The Name

"Selatan Pantai" means "South Beach" in the Southeast Asian Bahasa language. The letters of each word were fused to create the most perfect name for our hotel: The Setai.
