Department Mission Statement

To provide the Setai standard of customer service in an open kitchen setting. Dishes are serverd sharing style in native crockery from Thailand, China, Singapore, Malaysia, and India.

Job Purpose

Responsible for making Coffee orders, serving guests ans assisting servers while following food and beverage standards while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge and passion for food and beverage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High School diploma is preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Able to withstand heat.
• Able to carry more than 30 lbs.
• Able to handle a fast paced environment.
• Able to work independently and within a team.
• Preferably experience in similar capacity.

• Representing the core values and mission statement of The Setai by providing excellent guest service.
• Responsible for day to day operation of the Coffee Station in The Restaurant.
• Excellent preparation and execution of all coffee related beverages, specialty coffees, teas, etc.
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
• Prepares beverage to standards and follow presentation guidelines.
• Take bar supplies and equipment inventory.
• Take beverage orders and up sell menu items, ensuring that all items are served according to the operation standards.
• Ensure that workplace is well maintained and impeccably clean before, during and after service.
• Maintaine calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unsual events to maintain professional work environment.
• Take daily supplies and equipment inventory.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager
