Description
The Setai, South Beach is seeking a Human Resources Intern for a 6 month period. The position is an unpaid part-time position, 3-5 days a week during weekday office hours and offers a fantastic opportunity to gain entry level experience in a busy Human Resources Department. The position will be supporting the Employment Manager, Benefits & Employee Relations Manager and Director of Human Resources with operational tasks and special projects.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Recent college graduate in Business, Human Resources or Hospitality Management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Good knowledge of computers and software.
- Desire and enthusiasm to pursue a career in human resources.
- Professional and confident approach.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the confidential handling of employees files and sensitive information.
- Ensure the human resources reception has coverage during opening hours.
- Greet and handle all enquires in person or by telephone ensuring they are handled in a professional manner.
- Coordinate applicants in conjunction with the Employment Manager.
- Assist in the coordination of benefits administration.
- Coordinate pre employment background testing paperwork and results.
- Assist with the organization of employees relations activities.
- Maintain the performance review tracking and administration system.
- Input data, maintain and prepare reports from human resources computer system.
