Job Purpose
Responsible for the supervision of In Room Dining employees to ensure the In Room Dining experience exceeds guest expectations.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a food and beverage department at a luxury hotel.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to multi task, maintain and improve overall quality standards.
- Service oriented, detail oriented.
- Able to carry at least 30 lbs.
Job Responsibilities- Supervise servers to ensure all orders are set up correctly and served in a timely manner.
- Assist servers and Ordertakers when necessary.
- Work closely with other departments ensuring communication flows effectively.
- Assist with the training of employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Take inventories for In Room Dining related equipment, products and supplies as required.
- Prepare requisitions for approval to ensure par stock levels are maintained for all items.
- Assist with ensuring the department is operating efficiently and the In Room Dining experience is in accordance with the hotels operating criteria.
- Handle cash in accordance with hotel cashiering procedures.
- Organize the In Room Dining station area.
- Attend daily briefings, meetings and training as required.
- In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
