Job Purpose
Responsible for serving food and beverage items in guest rooms or residences and for the removal of all In Room Dining items from the rooms. Ensure the overall cleanliness of the In Room Dining station area.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of four years experience as a server in a luxury hotel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • An eye for detail and the ability to multi task.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food & beverage items.
  • Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol according to State Law.
  • Able to work flexible hours.
  • Able to carry more than 30lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time

Job Responsibilities
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
  • Delivery food and beverage items to guest rooms or residences.
  • Explain food and beverage items in detail to guests and residence owners.
  • Behave in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Always show a positive and pleasant attitude.
  • Ensure all relationships with guests and residence owners are professional.
  • Collect food from the kitchen and check the order is correct prior to delivery to the guest.
  • Carry flatware, glassware, linen, and food on tray or cart.
  • Clear all In Room Dining items from the guest room or residences as requested.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the In Room Dining station area.
  • Ensure adequate quantity of folded napkins for daily operation.
  • Ensure all condiments are prepared and served at the appropriate temperature.
  • Ensure clean pantries in Hotel and Tower site.
  • Polish flatware, chinaware, glassware, and hollowware.
  • Ensure the In Room Dining storage area is organized.
  • Attend all daily briefings and training as required.
  • In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
