Department Mission Statement
The Housekeeping Department is responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel, from guest rooms to bath-rooms, lobby, library and towers. The housekeeper never rests always expertly polishing, vacuuming, folding, bed making...and always with a smile and friendly hello to our guests.
Job Purpose
Responsible for replenishing stocks of guest supplies, such as chinaware and glassware, snacks and drinks in the private bar. Ensure the overall cleanliness of kitchen area in the guest room. Responsible for delivering amenities and refresh them daily.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- An eye for detail and the ability to multi task.
- High school diploma is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Food & Beverage items.
- Must be of minimum age to serve alcohol according to State Law.
- Able to work at flexible hours.
- Able to walk long periods of time
- Able to carry more than 30lbs.
Job Responsibilities - Replenishing guests' kitchen supplies, such as chinaware and glassware
- Taking inventories for private bar.
- Setting up Private Bar before arrival
- Replenishing snacks and drinks in the private bar
- Ensure all fruit amenities are refreshed daily.
- Explain our food and beverage items to guests
- Establish professional relationship with our guests and co-workers
- Carry flatware, glassware, linen, and food on tray or use cart.
- Responsible for clearing all amenities from the vacant room.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the Private Bar storage area.
- Polish flatware, chinaware, glassware, and hollowware.
- Make sure that all kitchen equipments are working properly.
- Attend all roll calls, meetings and trainings.
- In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
