Department Mission Statement

The Housekeeping Department is responsible for the cleanliness of the hotel, from guest rooms to bath-rooms, lobby, library and towers. The housekeeper never rests always expertly polishing, vacuuming, folding, bed making...and always with a smile and friendly hello to our guests.



Job Purpose

Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the restaurants, lobby areas, all public restrooms and public spaces.













Skills / Requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in housekeeping or relevant field.
  • Able to bend and stretch frequently throughout shift.
  • Able to lift up to 20lb.
  • Able to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Able to read and understand instructions, including safety rules.
  • Able to speak and understand Basic English.



    Job Responsibilities
  • Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform.
  • Clean and maintain the hotel public areas.
  • Clean and maintain the floors by sweeping, polishing, or vacuuming as required by floor type throughout the hotel public areas and adjacent office building.
  • Dry dust all wood floor areas daily and polish as necessary.
  • Clean and dust all Lobby furniture and upholstery daily.
  • Clean, maintain and service all public restrooms on a regular basis throughout the day.
  • Clean all glass surfaces daily as needed.
  • In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
