To provide world-class service in the unique ambience of The Setai Bar & Courtyard setting. Serving an array of cocktails, whiskies, single malts, rums and beers alongside world music.




Job Purpose

Responsible for taking drink orders and serving guests. Set, restock, clean, and maintain the bar. Responsible for cleaning and polishing all glasses, china and silverware. Take beverage inventory and ensuring the bar is prepared for each shift. Follow food and beverage standards and will ensure guest satisfaction.

Skills / Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in a fine dining restaurant or luxury hotel.
  
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
  
• High School diploma is preferred.
  
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
  
• Able to withstand heat.
  
• Able to carry more than 30 lbs.
  
• Able to handle a fast paced environment.
  
• Able to work independently and within a team.
  
  
  
  Job Responsibilities
  
• Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in the correct uniform.
  
• Take beverage orders and up sell menu items, ensuring that all items are served according to the operating standards.
  
• Ensure that the bar storage area is clean and neat.
  
• Prepare bar to ensure there is adequate quantity of all beverages, supplies and guest supplies for each shift.
  
• Take bar supplies and equipment inventory.
  
• Prepare bar fruits and condiments and ensure freshness.
  
• Know all beverage types, preparations, and garnishes.
  
• Know all glassware and presentation.
  
• Set up and replenish ice.
  
• Verify the check before presenting to the guest.
  
• In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager and Head Bartender.
