The Setai Valet was established with the goal in mind to provide a superior valet service with a focus on guest relationships and extraordinary customer service. The Valet department offers a secure and professional arrival service.
Job Purpose
Responsible for the management of the valet service provided to hotel and residences guests on arrival.
Skills / Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a management position in a luxury hotel environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Valid Florida driver's license.
Job Responsibilities- Ensure employees report to work at the scheduled time, well groomed and in the correct uniform.
- Recruit and train employees in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Direct and supervise Valet Coordinators and Valet Runners on a daily basis.
- Ensure all employees greet guests arriving at the hotel or residences in accordance with hotel guidelines.
- Prepare the weekly schedule for employees.
- Receive and handle all guest concerns and complaints.
- Attend weekly managers' meeting.
- Attend pre-event and B.E.O. meetings as appropriate.
- Process and disseminate communication from hotel valet employees.
- Maintain resident vehicle lists.
- Process payments and produce financial reports pursuant to agreement.
- Assist security with incident reports as appropriate.
- Coordinate prompt and efficient response to vehicle damage and all other claims with the hotel and claimant.
- Communicate valet CRM updates to Front Office Manager.
- In addition, other duties may be required as directed by your Manager.
